Editorial Policy
How NookPetdia creates, reviews, updates, and corrects cat-care guides and product guidance.
NookPetdia publishes practical cat-care guides and product guidance for pet parents who want clearer, calmer decisions at home.
Who we are
NookPetdia is a cat-focused content and commerce site. Our guides are written for everyday cat parents and aim to explain behavior, home setup, enrichment, and product choices in plain language.
Our editorial team
Our first editorial team is intentionally simple: Micky is the founder and editor of NookPetdia. We do not present a fake multi-person team. When additional writers or reviewers join, their author pages and roles will be shown clearly.
How we create content
We choose topics based on real questions cat owners ask, recurring search behavior, product-fit problems, and gaps we see in existing guides. Each article is drafted to answer a specific reader need before recommending any product.
Sources and fact-checking
We prefer primary or reputable sources when discussing cat care, including veterinary organizations, animal welfare resources, product documentation, and clearly identified expert references. We avoid turning estimates or personal observations into medical claims.
Review and update cycle
Articles are reviewed for clarity, accuracy, source quality, and reader usefulness before publication. We update content when guidance changes, when a product recommendation becomes outdated, or when readers point out an issue that deserves correction.
Corrections policy
If we find an error, we correct it as soon as practical. Material corrections may be reflected in the article copy, update notes, or metadata. Readers can contact us if they notice a factual issue or unclear recommendation.
Product recommendations and editorial independence
NookPetdia may sell products or link to commercial partners, but we do not sell editorial conclusions. Product recommendations should be relevant to the article topic, and affiliate or commercial relationships should be disclosed clearly when they apply.
